Just when you’re about to exit, there is an Indian style porcelain potty in the middle of the road. With the footrests. This is true and I have photographic evidence.

Rather cheap than great services
Another rather unusual habit of us Indians. We would use a product with pathetic services and quality if it is cheaper than a quality product. Even better, we would keep cursing the product in spite of the fact that a better product at marginally higher product is available easily.

We Indians are weird. College graduates and even MCAs feel happy and maybe even proud that they make it through the tests in Call Centers like Convergys and get jobs…

Apple in India? Too Expensive…
This is from my own personal archives… Old stuff.
After some Microsoft bashing some days back, today it’s the turn of the Apple’s website. I just went to their online Indian store to see how much premium they charge from the people of this developing country with so pathetic per capita income that it surprises people of the developed world that how could anyone here who want to buy original software can actually afford to do so! The prices were as expected shocking to me. But nothing shocked me more than the small typo they had on the MAIN PAGE!
They listed a Power G5 Mac for a cooool $158,600. That comes to around 7,137,000 INR. Whew… That is almost 800 months of my current salary. Yeah, I don’t earn good money
. But still it’s a stupid stupid typo, enough to cause some heart aches to the general public…

Update: Last time I checked, this typo was fixed. But it still is bloody darn expensive!
Insanities with Domino's Pizza
I was feeling hungry. I found lying a Domino's Pizza brochure promising me a 25% discount if I buy two pizzas. I had two more hungry guys around here… so I made the call. Ordered one medium Farmhouse Pizza and another regular Country Special. The dude landed here 40 minutes later. I paid him the money and asked for the discount…
The Dominos dude told me that if I wanted to discount, I should have told the guy whom I ordered the pizzas on the telephone!
Oh, Shit. I just lost 80 bucks just because the company had this stupid policy. Even worse, I wanted garlic bread and he delivered me Chinni Bread.
Chinni Bread? What the hell is this stupid bread coated with sugar? I do not need this. I need my garlic bread. No sir, the order said, Chinni Bread.
The day sucked since then.

Well. Let me clarify something. I have nothing against Karan Johar or any other individual. Everything written here is personal opinion and nothing is aimed to defame anyone.
This is an extended entry followed up from Insanity Rediscovered. We Indians sure love to misuse the free stuff! Some nice people gave us Wikipedia the free encyclopedia and we have not even spared that!

I was checking on some tech news when I came across this freshly baked article on indiatimes’ Economic Times section. Now I do have heard off something called Microsoft Windows… But, what the hell is this Indows they are talking about?
Funny thing is that even after 5 hours of sending a mail to the corresponding department in the so popular dotcom company, the error still remained their to be mocked on…
