Karan Johar on Wikipedia
Well. Let me clarify something. I have nothing against Karan Johar or any other individual. Everything written here is personal opinion and nothing is aimed to defame anyone.
This is an extended entry followed up from Insanity Rediscovered. We Indians sure love to misuse the free stuff! Some nice people gave us Wikipedia the free encyclopedia and we have not even spared that!

Karan joher is not a gay. I am sure that he is so nice person and friendly because he always talk so nicely. I love him and his movies very much. He is the best directer.

I cannot believe you people are so ignorant! First of all, it is no concern of any of you whether Karan Johar is gay or heterosexual. It is an individual’s very personal preference and is not an issue to be debated upon. Secondly, being straight does not make someone ’sweet and friendly and nice’ and being gay does not make him otherwise. A person’s character has nothing to do with his sexuality. Please stop talking nonsense and try to be more broadminded and accepting!

I agree with Kuldip’s comment. What does it matter what his sexuality is. If he is gay, that’s fine, if not, fine. How would him being either predispose him to being a nice person.

It might be very true that he is gay. Thinking back about the Kajol-tom boy character in KKHH, it all sounds right but just one such story can not make him gay however, the other rumors pairing him with Shahrukh seem to be right. If you guys had read the Shahrukh Khan’s interview that was published recently in “The Week”, he was asked the question in the interview if he was gay. If he was smart, he would have answered differently to that question. He brought Karan’s name in to the conversation on his own. He said, He once had a maid working for him and she sat him down and said, Gauri and Karan are having an affair. He laughed off that incident and said…Karan seems to be two timing me and my wife to make it sound funny. If he is not GAY and Karan is not his partner then why all this justification for a simple question like “are you gay”? Why is he bringing up Karan’s name into this conversation and why is his wife involved with this topic. I mean if the maid lied, why does she have to lie unless she had seen something obsene? Or is he trying to justify that Karan is not Gay but saying that Karan slept with Gauri? What was he trying to say? Any thoughts?

Probably Shah Rukh Khan didn’t want to offend gays by answering “No” to the “Are you gay” question. He chose to make a light-hearted remark instead.
Oh come on you people who think he can’t be gay and be a nice person, get your heads out of the sand. You’ve got no idea about life obviously.

Be it or not, no big deal…. its ones personal life, n his sexual preference. India is Still the only one, who down looks on homosexuality. C’mon guys, move on, grow up, as we all know, in todays life, wit the highly increasing out coming n disclosure, n acceptance of homosexuality. One can be really Happy n Gay.. Admire ones courage to speak out, wit full accptance, Trust me, you would be personally gifting thm smthng precious.

OMG the guy is sooooooo camp and most likely he is gay - guys like him usually are. Reason why it is even a minor issue is because he has not clarified it himself and ppl find that kinda mysterious and fascinating to a certain extent - human nature I suppose. Even if he is gay, there is nothing wrong with that especially in today’s western society. But then cosmopolitan cities like Mumbai generally are conservative about such topics. Think when that kind of society ‘embraces’ these issues then I am sure Karan will feel more comfortable to ‘come out’
